Update integrity

The updater reads the public stable manifest, accepts Dotsilicon HTTPS downloads, and verifies the package SHA-256 before launch.

Free Edition identity
Useful freeware that still builds the brand.
The Free Edition includes a small “Created with Dotsilicon PDF Signature” credit on generated pages. A validated paid license removes it.

FAQ
Common questions
Does Dotsilicon PDF Signature overwrite my original files?
No. The app creates new processed output files and leaves the original PDFs unchanged.
Can I merge PDFs without adding a signature or seal?
Yes. Merge-only processing is supported when two or more PDF files are selected.
What changes when I upgrade from Free?
A validated Pro, Business or Enterprise license removes the Free Edition PDF-page branding. Business also supports organizational deployment under the device allowance issued with the license.
How are app updates published?
The desktop app and this homepage read release information from /api/ds-pdf-signature/update.json. The manifest includes the current version, release date, download URL, release notes and SHA-256 checksum.
